Default NEW droks RUN!!!!!!

If you go to beacons nowadays you'll hear alot of complaints by both runners and by customers for the droks run... people saying with the new updates they nerfed the run.... well its not nerfed but it is alot harder!

LT Helm Update
- The helm that I've always considered a MUST HAVE for this run has now been changed.... the Duration of hexes is now only reduced by 20%..... so when you here people saying the hexes last longer this is not true, just the traditional hex helm is less effective!!!
- I'm still doing some test but I now prefer wearing a Tactics or Strength Helm, the reduced effectiveness of the LT helm just makes the +1 in another attribute seem alot more appealing

Physco WURMS
- You'll also hear that wurms will follow you for ALOT longer..... i'm still not sure if this is true or if they simply added more but either way... the wurms are definetly more difficult!

Imp Patrol {super speed}
- The Imps that patrol b4 the wurm Cave were very easily avoided, they can still be avoided it just more difficult now because they run ALOT faster.... and for myself, it seems everytime I aggro them by mistake... I get smashed by wurms at the same time!

Wurms + Imps = Dead Runner!!!!!!

The droks run is NOT nerfed, it is more challenging once again..... and this is through my experience as a SOLO droks runner..... dual runs are still alot easier to make..... but I prefer solo... maybe because i'm GREEDY!

I still Make this run with the following Attributes, Build, Armor, Runes, and Weapon Set!

Attributes
Strength 13
Tactics 13
{add 1 to either if u swap out the LT helm for one of strength or tactics}

Skills
1) Holy Veil
2) Smite Hex
3) Purge Conditions
4) Endure Pain
5) Balanced Stance
6) Charge
7) Sprint
8) Healing Sig

Armor {my preference}
Helm: LT or Ascolon
Chest: Gladiators
Hands: Gladiators
Leggings: Ascolon
Feet: Ascolon

Runes
Major Vigor(superior if u can afford)
Major Absorption(superior if u can afford)
Minor Tactics
Minor Strength

Shield
Grognars or CCS Collecters (same stats)
Armor 16
Health +45(in stance)
Received dmg -2 (in stance)

Sword or Axe
Health +30 {I prefer}
or
Armor +5

You should use a +5 Pommel/Grip and -2 Stance/-3 Hexed Shield. Added health is easy to lose. However, defense against everything prevents losing what you already have.

The imps before the cave didn't change at all. In short, you're wrong. They're still easy to avoid.

Same build but I swap Smite Hex for breeze now. Find that ur more likely to be caught in a situation where u'll need to hold ground and heal in light aggro before hitting the next group. Also works wonders if u need to wait while a wurm is munching on you, just keep side stepping till ur balance is ready. Down side is you have to work only with veil and drop both str and tacts to 12, but it won't affect ur balance, sprint and charge durations.

I do agree with the +1 being more attractive now. Just did 2 runs and you can really feel the difference. Imps are ok as long as they don't litter the place like a mine field. So far no change in the distance the wurms follow, don't know if the occational tracker still exists after the update until I do more runs.

I still have no problem with this run, the ONLY thing that has changed is that the wurms now attack instead of just casting spells. The ONLY people that are complaining are the ones who had to have the Lt helm to make the run.

I recently went from camp to beacons and counted ten wurms. There were four before the avicara cave and six on the path after the troll cave.

This is based on body count. I did walk around the normal running path a couple times so I'm 90% sure this is all of them.

There are 3 before the cave as always and 3 after the trolls just like before. Wurms pop up multiple times, so counting how many times they popped up is not accurate at all.

I can still do the run..... but not everyone realized it was the LT helm that had been changed, wanted to let them know..... it did however make things easier

You want extra health while running. Most damage is from hexes which typically ignores armor.

I don't know how you got hit by 4 wurms.

I still do this run every day and have never seen that spawn, maybe they added a spawn like that to make it more difficult.

Closed: redundant thread, old build, wrong informations (imps, runes...), awful English and punctuation (!!!!). For your information, forum rules are not optional. Yes, some minor things have been updated, but there is no need to start a new thread.
